I get tons and tons of books from Excalibur each week. Since I buy them in bulk, sometimes it takes me a while to get around to certain titles. Well, one book I'm sorry I didn't get to sooner, it's Nailbiter. Nailbiter is the BEST comic book on the market right now. Season 5 of the Walking Dead was one of the bloodiest and most brutal seasons in the show's history. We saw everything from the Terminus folks slaughtering people like pigs to crazy zombie slaughtering to Rick just wrecking shop on all sorts of people. Daredevil, in my humble opinion, is the MOST underrated comic hero of all time. Most people just don't give Ole' Horn Head the respect he deserves. He can be dark and gritty (look at Frank Miller's run), fun and uplifting (Mark Waid's current run) or a mix of both (Kevin Smith). That's why I'm totally stoked for the Netflix show. One of the growing trends on YouTube is rap battles between pop culture icons. They've had everyone from Hitler and Abe Lincoln to Stephen Hawking and Albert Einstein face off. I grew up in time when 8-bit video games ruled the world. Nothing in the world was better than the NES. I guess, that's why I have such a warm spot in my heart for the 8-Bit Cinema videos that pop up on YouTube. I love them.
