In December, two young Bullet for My Valentine fans lost their lives in a car crash, but according to The Mirror, the pair will get the ultimate send-off from the band they loved this summer. The group has agreed to take specially crafted jewelry holding the ashes of the youths with them as they tour the States and Canada this summer.

James Simmons, 18, and Corran "Coz" Powell, 21, died together in the December incident. Simmons passed immediately at the scene, while Powell died days later after being placed in a medically induced coma. Powell's brother contacted the band after the passing to see if they would be up for taking part in this tribute.

Powell's family made a piece of jewelry in the shape of a cog in recognition of Coz's gaming hobby. His mother Gennie Powell stated, "We made a piece of stainless steel jewelry inspired by the Gears of War game." She added that they also collected a piece of jewelry from Simmons parents that's a long cylinder gold cut out piece and that both items were sent to the band's management team this past week.

"It's amazing this is happening," said Powell. "I can't really describe how I feel about it. It's a lovely gesture." Simmons' father Mike added, "Music really was Coz and James' life. James was a big fan of Bullet for My Valentine, Slipknot and My Chemical Romance."
