Horn will now be transported to the death house at Angola where he will spend the rest of his days. Louisiana law requires an automatic appeal in all death penalty cases, which means it will likely be years, even decades before the death sentence is carried out.

Horn was found guilty on Wednesday, April 2 of killing 12-year-old Justin Bloxom four years ago.
