It has been a powder-keg-type career so far in Baton Rough for Brandon Harris. The Parkway (Bossier City) alumni fought for snaps his freshman year, before securing the starting job last season. Now he looks to blow up this season.

2016 is shaping up to be full of big expectations for the LSU offense. Harris will be the first QB in recent memory to head into a season with the coaching staff and his position firmly in-place, and it doesn't hurt to have perennial Heisman favorite Leonard Fournette with him in the backfield. Not to mention the multiple NFL prospects on the offensive line.

But even with all of this promise for the season, Harris wasn't able to make the All SEC Team at SEC Media Days. Here's the story from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"LSU quarterback Brandon Harris has been named to the All SEC third team. Ole Miss signal caller Chad Kelly is a first-team second selection and Tennessee’s Joshua Dobbs is on the second-team.

The Tigers will kick off against Wisconsin at Green Bay on Saturday, September 3rd."
