Sure, we've all thought about it...but a local teen actually followed through.

A Benton teenager bragged on social media about stealing 16 street signs from Bossier Parish neighborhoods. Now, he's sitting in Bossier Max.

Bossier sheriff's deputies say 17-year-old Chase Grubbs is charged with 16 counts of theft for stealing signs from the Haughton area.

The investigation began July 7 after a deputy saw a picture on Snapchat that showed stolen street signs in the back of a vehicle with the caption "Good a.. Night." The deputy made contact with Grubbs, who told the deputy he and two friends just wanted to have fun by stealing the signs, which were still in the back of his car.

Grubbs was booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility on $16,000 bond. Charges on accomplices are possible as the investigation continues.
