Hey It’s Rockin’ Rick! I just celebrated my 20th anniversary as an on-air personality for 99X. I was born in Peoria, IL, then spent 14 years in Vail, Colorado, where I enjoyed the party and outdoor life, including being a ski bum, hiking, fishing, camping, golfing, 4-wheeling, traveling and, of course, partying hard. While I lived in Vail I started my radio career at a station called KSKE. I moved to Shreveport in late 1995 and heard that “The Rebel Rocker 99X” dropped off my air-check cassette tape. I was hired the same day and the rest is history. I've had the privilege of interviewing, hanging out with and getting to know more bands than I can list here. The coolest thing I have ever got to do as a jock was fly with the Blue Angels about 5 years ago. The most fun part of my job is getting to meet and hang out with you, the listeners, at our numerous remotes, events and concerts. And of course, I'm a fitness buff and love to work out. See ya at the next one. Peace out and ROCK ON!
