Puff

I like beer 'cause it is good. I drink beer because I should. If there was a song to sing, I'd sing it and beer you bring. I drink beer when I am sad cause the beer, it makes me glad. Now there's nothing left to say, so let's go drink beer. Beer is good...and stuff.

Puff’s Playlist: Essential Phil Anselmo

Yesterday, Phil Anselmo and Down released their first taste of their up coming EP 'Down IV Part II' called "We Knew Him Well". And, as most of you know, Shreveport and Phil Anselmo have history that goes way back in the day to his first band Razor White and his first gig ever with Pantera. So, I got to thinking about what some of my favorite Phil Anselmo tunes are. He's been in so many killer bands including Pantera, Down, SuperJoint Ritual, and more. So, I put together a playlist of some of my favorite tunes. Let me know what you think and feel free to share of your Phil memories from the past 30 years.

Experience What It’s Like To Be Superman With New GoPro Video

I've always been a huge nerd. I love comic books, Star Wars, Star Trek and all that stuff. And growing up, I'd always pretend to be my favorite Super heroes. Sometimes I'd be Batman or Superman or Iron Man, but today I no longer have to wonder what it would be like to be a Super hero. Filmmakers in Los Angeles attached a GoPro camera to a drone and added special effects to come up with the full Superman experience. Pretty awesome stuff...now if we could only get that Superman/Wonder Woman Sex tape, I'd be a happy man.

Top 10 Type O Negative Tunes [PLAYLIST]

I was cleaning out my closet yesterday and while I was throwing out a bunch of crap, I stumbled upon a copy of Type O Negative's 'Bloody Kisses' (on cassette -- who knew any of those still were in existence?) that I bought WAY back in 1994. And all of a sudden, I got hit with a wave of nostalgia.

Scientifically Accurate Flintstones May Be The Funniest Cartoon Ever [VIDEO]

I'm sure at some point, we've all watched the Flintstones. The prehistorical cartoon sitcom followed the hijinx of Fred, Wilma, Barney, and Betty as they tried to have happy, normal lives during the time of dinosaurs. They made for some highly entertaining Saturday mornings. It turns out the Flinstones, as we know them, were all a lie!

The Limp Bizkit ‘Rollin’ Cover You Never Wanted Is Here [VIDEO]

Let's face it: as much as we hate Limp Bizkit NOW, a decade ago they were one of the biggest bands on the planet. And even though they have all but disappeared from our every day lives, I still look back at my time wearing a backwards Yankee hat with bleach blonde hair fondly.

That's why my pickle got so tickled when I saw this cover of LB's 'classic' hit Rollin'.

March Is Metal Month: Best Nu Metal Tracks [PLAYLIST]

For the uninitiated, March is Metal Month! Which is pretty awesome because Metal often doesn't get the credit it deserves. And one of the most over looked metal sub-genre has to be Nu-Metal which was pretty popular in the mid-90's to early 2000s but has pretty much died since then. Sure, the Deftones, Korn, Sevendust and Staind are still around kicking all forms of ass, but there are a lot of bands from that era that get over looked or forgotten(some rightfully so...yeah I'm looking at you Limp Bizkit and Crazy Town). So, in honor of March is Metal Month, here are some of the best tracks from the Nu Metal era.
