According to the calendar on the wall, it's Tuesday September 7th, 2010. I've gotta get a new calendar. Nontheless, it is Tuesday...and that means it's time for another exciting edition of 'Tramp Stamp Tuesday"
Lacuna Coil has a new album, Dark Adrenaline, in stores and online...and they're on Gigantour with Megadeth, Motorhead, and Volbeat. Hopefully this album and the tour will get them the attention they deserve. One of my favorite bands for several years now, Dark Adrenaline is a return the sound they had prior to the over-polished album Shallow Life. The songs are little poppier, but they're catchy, and Cristina Scabbia’s looks and sounds spectacular! If you're hitting up Gigantour in Dallas on March 1st, make sure you get there early and check out on of Italy's finest exports!
Seether recently held a contest asking fans to take a shot at remixing the hit single ‘Tonight’ from their recent studio album ‘Holding On To Strings Better Left To Fray’ - and were so blown away by the results they received, that they've decided to release an entire EP of fan remixes.
The highlight of the night, according to some friends at the show, was when Lacuna Coil’s Cristina Scabbia joined Megadeth onstage to perform ‘A Toute le Monde’. You might recall that ‘A Toute le Monde’ originally debuted on Megadeth’s 1994 release ‘Youthanasia,’ but was re-recorded in 2007 as ‘A Tout le Monde (Set Me Free)’ - a version that featured Scabbia.
All indications point to a new Tool album...either late this year or early 2013. But before they get back to work on the project we all are chomping at the bit for, there are other things Maynard and the boys have to deal with. Danny Carey played a few shows with Volto!, Maynard released a new Puscifer album and has scheduled a spring tour, and Tool is actually on the road playing a few shows.
Ok...I was a little leery of the raw fish thing, but sushi grew on me. Anime porn? Cartoon sex, not my thing. Bukkoke? OH COME ON!!! But, now this? Japanese weirdness goes to a whole new place with people vacuum-packed together in giant Zip-loc bags
