When people think about professional wrestling, Hulk Hogan is one person who immediately comes to mind. Many of his "legendary" matches still excite professional wrestling fans, but a lot of people don't know about his humble beginning.
The Hulkster made his debut in 1979 against some no name who's probably dead by now. Hogan busted out his famous moves such as a punch to the head, body slam and suplex. However, this was before he started doing the most devastating, deadly move: the leg drop.
This show seems like it will be one of the most boring shows that has ever graced the screen of a television.
MTV is debuting a show called White People, which is all about five young white people talking about their racial identity. They talk about a wide range of topics like white guilt, white history, and white privilege.
Back in April, we talked about a new Japanese gameshow where contestants would attempt to sing karaoke while receiving HJs from attractive women. We thought, at the time, that we had finally reached the peak of weirdness for TV shows. Turns out that's not the case.
There's a new Japanese game show set to premiere soon, and its title loosely translates to The Handjob Competition.
This morning on the air, Free Beer & Hot Wings talked to Shaun Evans who, with his son Shamus, is currently doing something that will make you feel like you're the laziest person in the world. And it's all for a great cause. Oh, and it's a great, heartwarming story as well.
Dale Earnhardt, Jr. won the Coke Zero 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway early this morning.
Right after Earnhardt's victory, driver Austin Dillon had a horrible accident where his car got launched from the inside of the track over two lanes of cars, hit the catch fence upside down, landed back on the track on its roof, and was hit by Brad Keselowski. The car was nearly torn in half, and its engine was ripped from under the hood. A section of the fence was torn down and debris went into the grandstands.
Yesterday after the show, Free Beer was showing some photos of the twins to a coworker, when it popped into his head that the coworker would probably stand there as long as he wanted them to, based on social norms.
Yesterday, ESPN's Colin Cowherd had Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh on his program. Harbaugh is pretty notorious for being a serious football guy, so even a hint of a jokey or happy demeanor from Cowherd was probably going to throw him off...and boy did it!
Each Thursday on the show, we play Dumber Than Zane Trivia for a $500 cash prize.Due to some instances of cheating in the past, we now require that all of our contestants be blindfolded and use GoToMeeting so we can watch them play and ensure that they are not cheating.
Plus, it gives us a chance to see what the person taking on Zane (or in this case, Hot Wings) in a battle of wits actually looks like!
Seth MacFarlane is responsible for a lot of the voices on Family Guy.
He can go through each character flawlessly without missing a beat, and does so pretty regularly when he makes appearances on talk shows. In this video, MacFarlane appears on The Graham Norton Show along with Cyndi Lauper and proceeds to sing some of her biggest hits in the voices of Stewie and Peter Griffin.
