We asked our listeners a simple question: which of these 13 local bartenders is the hottest? And with nearly 2,000 votes cast, they've spoken. Selena Smith, who works at the Riverside Warehouse in Shreveport, has been named the hottest local bartender.
OK, we admit this video is a little old. But it's new to us. It's a camel making a crazy noise that sounds similar to what you'd hear in a death metal song. The headbanging camel's scream is looped and the music from Lamb of God's song "Again We Rise" is placed under it for a perfect mix of funny and scary.
As soon as we opened the gates at Festapalooza, we ran into this guy. If you haven't already noticed, he has an interesting t-shirt on. It reads 'I have the d___ so I make the rules," and has a drawing of a guy pointing his finger at a woman.
We're guessing he received plenty of attention from Festapalooza's female attendees, but decided to ask our own local rock goddess Jade Green what she thought about the t-shirt.
We need to thank high school nerd Jake Davidson for his unwavering efforts to get a supermodel to go to prom with him. If not for him, we probably never would have had our eyes opened to Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Nina Agdal.
Instagram isn't just a place to upload food porn pictures and hot selfies, though the latter is one of our favorite uses for the photo-sharing app. There's some funny, bad-ass and overall weird s#*^ on there, too -- something we quickly discovered by doing a search for 'metal.'
Check out some of the best metal pictures and memes on Instagram.
It must be nice to be that guy who programs the descriptions of shows and movies into TV programming. Instead of going postal when you have a bad day, you can just "accidentally" type in a porn movie title and give millions of viewers a nice little surprise.
We don't pay much attention to big news stories -- unless they involve metal, porn or some glorious combination of the two. However, watching strippers read the news is enough to make even the most banal story interesting.
Sunday's St. Patrick's Day party, Patty in the Plaza, was mostly a family-friendly event. That didn't stop us from trying to have a little adult fun. Since we were unable to convince any lovely ladies to get into the bouncy castle and bounce in slow motion (something about 'having too much self respect'?), we did the next best thing: have two local girls face off against each other in a race up an inflatable rock wall.
Place your bets on who emerges victorious, but know this: you win no matter what.
