I just read a news story about how two-thirds of kids 13-17 in America didn't know who Osama bin Laden was until we killed him.

I know it sounds insane, but I believe it. Kids today are dumb. I read this and just assumed the kids in America were screwed and that two thirds of them would end up flipping burgers at some fast food joint.

That was before I found out how screwed up the youth in other countries are.

In Spain, the youth unemployment rate is the highest in the EU at 40 percent, and kids often live with their parents to well into their 30s.

But one 25-year-old man took it a little too far. He doesn't work or go to college. His parents say they can't afford the luxury of supporting him anymore, so they cut off his $587 a month allowance.

So he sued his parents to force them to resume paying his allowance. It backfired when the judge ruled that there is no absolute, unlimited obligation for parents to support their adult children and ordered him to move out of their house within 30 days.

At least that should give him enough time to find a girlfriend to move in with.
