American Airlines Adding New Direct Flight To Shreveport

Need to get to Charlotte, North Carolina?  Soon you'll be able to fly non-stop.  American Airlines announced yesterday that is adding daily direct flights between Shreveport Regional and Charlotte Douglas airports.

The service is scheduled to begin on August 22nd.  There will be two daily flights from Shreveport--one at 11:28am and 10:09pm.  (Don't you find these stated departure times humorous?)  Currently fares for the 1 hour and 40 minute flight are priced at $262.
