With Christmas music in the air and the holiday season around us, many long to create the next great Christmas carol. Add in the NSA spying programs, and you might have yourself a hit.

That's what the American Civil Liberties Union did when they released their own parody Christmas carol entitled "The NSA is Coming to Town."

Set to the tune of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," the video follows what look to be NSA agents dressed up as Santa Claus all around New York City, spying on citizens' activities and keeping track of who's been naughty and who's been nice.

Some of the Santas take photos of everyday people, follow them around with a boom mic or even steal their phones.

The message the civil rights activist group is trying to convey is: you don't like being spied on in person, why would it be okay to be spied on digitally?
