Rage notes that "turkey day" has come and gone, but in my estimation, it's a SEASON for thanksgiving. Besides, along with the eggnog (spike mine with Southern Comfort, please) I'm thinking most of us will get the bird again for Christmas feasting. With that in mind, I saw a Harris poll that asked if there is MORE to be thankful for thanksgiving 2011. About 2500 adults were asked. The age GROUP most thankful is 18-34…  So what is this?  Rage observes that those OLDER than 35 should have LOTS more to be thankful for: in this age, it's a challenge just making it TO 35, let alone continuing past it!  Overall, 45 percent said “it's about the same," 32 percent say they have MORE…that’s off from41% LAST year.  And if your math quick, you’ll notice there’s about 18 percent missing…they say there’s less for which to be thankful…yeah, right. There's a whole other discussion that could be launched from THAT platform. Quicherbitchn. Perhaps a call to Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future is in order to schedule for "the

thankful-less 18%" an Ebenzer Scrooge- type visitation…

Merry bahhum-Christmas-bug! :)
