A New Christmas Tradition – ‘THE SLUTCRACKER’ [VIDEO]

The timeless ballet classic 'The Nutcracker' has been run on stages across the country throughout the holiday season - but never quite like this.

Tchaikovsky's best seller, in particular its unmistakable music, is so popular at Christmas that it has been tweaked to cater to different audiences ...creating the 'Slutcracker' - a version starring pole dancers.

Classically trained dancer Vanessa White created Boston's burlesque version after an injury forced her to quit ballet.

She told ABC News: '

Slutcracker, the name just kind of popped into my head and my husband was like, you have to do that!'

'Since we opened in 2008 we've grossed over half a million dollars. Last year we sold over 12,000 tickets.'
