99X Introduces the ‘Homegrown Minute’ to Promote Local Rock Bands

Some exciting news for local rock fans and bands! The Homegrown Minute will be featured on The Rock Station 99X four times a day, beginning Monday, March 16, 2015.

I've been gathering up all the info you've sent so far, and have put together some great features to showcase the awesome bands our area has to offer. And I'll be updating these regularly.

The new features will play in the 5 and 8AM hours, and 5 and 8PM hours, so you'll have numerous chances to either hear your band mentioned, or find out what shows you want to hit up next.

If you haven't sent anything in yet, and want us to get the word out on where you'll be playing next, post the info on the Homegrown on 99x Facebook page so I can get it in the rotation. You can also hit me up on the Jade on 99x Facebook page.

Keep in mind, we are still planning to get the Homegrown SHOW back on the air, we're just working on scheduling issues. We hope you enjoy this in the meantime. This is our way to SUPPORT LOCAL ROCK!!
